Thanks to 'we love your books' I have been playing with food again for this year's minute theme. The best natural colours and strongest printing shapes are from the best and freshest fruit and vegetables - the things that are really good for you. Hence the title 'from minute to almost immortal' is for a small book about growth.

p's & q's press
- Christine Tacq
- The p’s & q’s press prints mainly intaglio and letterpress books, also small books using new technologies, always in search of more expressive combinations of image and text. Recent publications include collaborations, translations, anthologies and other collections. The press was established in 1999. The first book by the artist was The Monkeys’ Dream (1991). Christine Tacq completed a BA at Kingston College of Art and was awarded a French government Fine Art Scholarship to spend the following year etching at the Atelier run by Johnny Friedlaender in Paris. Christine continued printmaking at Bristol Artspace. A residency in Milton Keynes resulted in the publication of her first artists book. Leonie Lachlan and occasional other artists also create books with p's & q's Press. The p's & q's Press is based in Thame, Oxfordshire. Contact christine.tacq@talk21.com
